无界读书会首次联合欧盟“地平线2020计划”之“玛丽·斯沃德斯卡-居里行动”中的RISE（Research and Innovation Staff Exchanges for international and inter-sectoral cooperation）交流研究项目，来自土耳其、以色列、英国、德国、奥地利及中国的学者共同完成研究课题。2023年8月30日，英国纽卡斯尔大学建筑景观与规划学院的安德鲁-洛博士将在武汉负责主持这场特殊的读书会，通过线上线下的方式，邀请中外学者分享“工业遗产的保护与利用”的主题。

The second webinar of the CONSIDER project titled "Sustainable Management of lndustrial Heritage Sites as a Resource for Urban Development" funded by the Eu Horizon 2020 MSCA RISE Programme will be held online on 30 August 2023 between 11.00-13.00(CET). The second webinar "Industrial Heritage Beyond West Europe: Chinese industrial heritage conservation and management" will be hosted by the Kadir Has University, under the leadership of Dr. Andrew M.Law, Newcastle University.

About the Speaker:
Dr Ning Lu has been working as a lecturer at College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Qingdao University of Technology since 2017. Ning holds a PhD degree on Industrial Heritage Conservation and Management from Newcastle University, UK.His research interests focus on 'integral strategies for conservation and planning',multiple values and public participation in heritage management','theory and practice of historic landscape regeneration in coastal areas' and 'inventory industrial heritage conservation and reuses';

CONSIDER aims to develop a sustainable management model for industrial heritagesites for the benefit of the local communities as a resource for strengthening collective identities, improving the urban landscape,promoting eco-friendly solutions, and contributing to the urban economy and a sustainable future of the city. As a Research and lnnovation project, the CONSIDER brings 12 academic and sectoral institutions in seven countries together. Coordinator of the Project being Kadir Has University (TR,UNESCO Chair on Management and Promotion of world HeritageSites), Newcastle University (UK), Ruhr University Bochum (DE), University of Antwerp(BE), Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (IL, UNESco chair on Urban Design and Conservation) represent the academic institutions while Kadikoy Municipality (TR),Newcastle city Council (UK)，Tyne and Wear Preservation Trust (UK),zollverein stiftung (DE), Eutropian (AT)，Haifa Municipality (IL) are the sectoral partners. The Huazhong University of Science and Technology (CN,UNESCO Chair on lndustrialHeritage) acts as Third Country (Tc) partner.
